Steelers to lose Super Bowl trophies
Pittsburgh, PA
The NFL record 6-time Super Bowl Champion Pittsburgh Steelers will soon be losing half of those trophies. After a meeting between NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and President Barak Obama, Mr. Obama has decided to redistribute half of the Steelers Super Bowl trophies and give them to "less fortunate teams".
"We live everyday in the country that invented the Super Bowl", said Mr. Obama. "We are not going to lose this great American tradition in the wake of difficult times, and especially not because of inferior results by unfortunate football teams". Obama's plan calls for the Steelers to donate half of their Super Bowl trophies to NFL teams that have not been as successful as the Steelers. "The Detroit Lions are as much a part of the National Football League as are the Pittsburgh Steelers, and they have the same entitlement to a Super Bowl trophy as do the Steelers", explains Mr. Obama in his plan submitted to the NFL.
Mr. Obama's plan calls for winning teams (in this case the Steelers) to carry the weight of teams that are not so successful. The President went on to say, "In these difficult times, we are all in this together. We must reclaim the NFL Championship dream for every team, every city and for every fan".
"My plan will not affect 31 of the 32 teams in the league", Obama assures. "Over 95% of the teams in the NFL won't have to worry about losing their Lombardi Trophies. And the best thing is that the worst performing teams in the NFL will have a Championship trophy to call their own. Long-suffering cities and fans will finally have something to be proud of."
Mr. Obama's plan calls for Super Bowl trophy XLIII to be re-distributed to the Detroit Lions, in the hopes that they will be inspired and strive harder. The Steelers XL Super Bowl trophy will be presented to the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals have twice reached the Super Bowl, but have fallen short both times. It is Mr. Obama's hope that a Lombardi trophy is the incentive that the Bengals need to achieve greatness. Finally, Super Bowl trophy XIII will be presented to the Dallas Cowboys. As all America is aware, the Cowboys barely lost that game. Because the Steelers have more championships than the Cowboys, in fairness the trophy will be given to Dallas.
Mr. Obama is said to be reviewing the won-lost records of the New York Yankees, Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers and the Detroit Red Wings.
Note: Although the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs have won more Stanley Cups than the Red Wings, Mr. Obama is leaving his options open

What does PC have to do with anything I said?
Everything.
There is only one trophy awarded at the end of the season. You get nothing for participating. You win or you lose. Fairness be damned

I hate that the crowds are incited to make noise so the visiting team can't hear the play calls. The advantage of morale goes to home team. That should be enough. From there, I want to watch two teams play head to head, each to the best of their abilities, without so many 'tricks' of home advantage - and the best team that day wins.
Jack Lambert once said that quarterbacks should wear dresses.

NFL raising the roof on noise meter at stadiums this season
By Michael McCarthy, USA TODAY
The NFL is relaxing its strict rules on crowd noise for the new season as part of an initiative to improve the in-stadium experience for millions of fans, says chief marketing officer Mark Waller.
The league will allow home clubs to incite the 12th man with visual noise meters and scoreboard messages such as "Let's Hear It!" and "Raise the Roof!" while the visiting team's call plays. Clubs must cease when the play clock hits 15 seconds. As before, fans can't use noisemakers (no vuvuzelas). And teams are not allowed to pump in artificial crowd noise.
The NFL previously prohibited clubs from using these messages during the 40-second play clock out of concern they'd interfere with the visiting teams. But the league believes coach-to-quarterback radio communications and silent snap counts are advanced enough, says Waller.
"We as a league are working harder to balance what's right for fans — and what's right for playing football," Waller says.
Commissioner Roger Goodell says the league needs to make the stadium experience safer and more exciting to lure fans tempted to watch from the comfort of home. The NFL's 2009 attendance fell 2.4% to 16.7 million from 17.1 million in 2008.
To enable fans to better keep abreast of other games, all 31 stadiums are able to show the RedZone Channel on scoreboards before, during and after games.
Handheld devices such as Fan Vision will allow fans to watch all games from their seat. The Baltimore Ravens, New England Patriots, and Washington Redskins are installing HD boards similar to the Dallas Cowboys.

Is the WTBTS mistaken or deceptive?
by exwhyzee inwhen i look back at history, i see the great lengths people have gone to, to prove their devotion to god and to carry out what they though to be his will.. do you think the watchtower organization is truly trying to deceive people and cover things up or do you think they are honestly misguided or mistaken in some of their beliefs and policies ?
if so, what purpose would they have for doing this?.

But I don't see money being a factor because supposedly they use it all to perpetuate the work and no one person is getting rich...or are they? How do we really know where all the money goes?
